Background: Cheol lived in South Korea until he was about 10 years old when his family moved when his father got a job offer in the US. He was very social and quickly made friends in D.C. where they ended up moving, and stayed in touch with a few of his old friends. He participated on the track team at his school, talked to all of the other teams. Even before his family moved, he had learned English, and knew it well, even if he mispronounced things at times. Sometimes he will still slip in random words from his first language, which confused his friends at first, but they learned to get used to it. Cheol was known to socialize more than study, but he was able to get away with it because he rarely needed to study in the first place to get good grades. He never liked being alone because it always unnerved him, so every day he would find things to do in the city or talk to his friends from home online, since he didn't have any siblings to bother and his parents were rarely home.

Personality: Known for his 'smiley-ness', he is very happy and giggly. He rarely can keep a straight face, and ruins serious moments quite a bit. He's a bit naive, and misses a lot of jokes and such, and sometimes will half mile and stare for a minute if he feels that something had a secret meaning.

Extras: Cheol has no problem freaking out over something cute or cool. He's not very good at hiding crushes either, as he stares or if the other looks at him he will smile and wave awkwardly and keep staring back. That's about as far as he will go to getting close to someone in that way. He may be social, but he's definitely not a romantic professional. Later in his school life, he has needed to work a little harder, but still tends to use his time not studying. Sometimes he spends a whole day doing nothing but listening and dancing around to music, then remembers a test that's the next day. Rarely does Cheol get upset, but when he does he can't talk to anyone or he cries, so he will just wave anyone off and smile as best as he can. His nickname is Chameleon because one of his best friends in D.C. slapped a sticky note on his face with that name and 'renamed' him, because he used to color his hair all the time, and referenced it to the stereotype.
