History:

+ For most of his life, Hyun-Ki was homeschooled, since his bony tail was too hard to hide for long periods of time. His father had hellhound in him while his mother was human, and they both had good jobs so Hyun-Ki always had toys to keep himself busy. He thought his mother was the prettiest person in the world and followed her around everywhere. In the winter when he could put his tail under his thick coat or winter pants he was allowed to go outside with her to a store or parks. He would end up making a few friends while he was outside playing with other kids, but never kept a close friend. His mom didn't have many friends where they lived too, which didn't help rumors that were whispered of who they were. She always smiled though and wanted Hyun-Ki to interact with other kids. When he was about 13 he had kept contact with a girl, Ji-Na, by hanging out in the cold and writing letters to each other when he was home. One day she took him to her school after classes and showed him around. They ended up going to the chemistry lab and while she was looking through cabinets he decided to play with chemicals, and his tail fell out of his coat. She came back right as he added something else, and it exploded in front of them, glass shards cracking the end of his tail, and making shallow wounds in both of them. His mom was looking for him and found the two soon after, but not before a school teacher did, and Hyun-Ki was not allowed to stay outside as much anymore, also having to stop being with Ji-Na, her mother hearing about the event and forbidding their friendship. One day he got something in the mail, a Hellebore with a small note attached saying 'friends forever' and her initials. The next time he was allowed to be around others was when his parents found BlackGale Academy, which he had mixed feelings about.
